Stanley Linton, representing the U.S. Naval Academy, finished 15th overall in 32:51 in the men's open 10-kilometer race to lead his group to the team title by a 23-25 margin over Sports Warriors Track Club at the USATF Cross Country Championships, presented by Toyota, at Mission Bay Park in San Diego. Linton, 28, finished fourth among the men's military competitors to lead Navy to the team title in that division by a 24-38 margin over Air Force.
