Utah State freshman Bridger Altice finished third in the junior men's 8-kilometer race in 26:38.2 at the USATF Cross Country Championships at Mission Bay Park in San Diego. Altice qualified to compete Feb. 29 in the Pan American Cup in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.
